Hey everyone!!

My Mom and I were going to take Coltin to the Zoo yesterday, but they closed an hour after we arrived, so we went to the playground instead. Coltin had a lot fun on the slide, and pushing the stroller around the parking lots. We also fed the geese, the ducks, and the seagulls. They sure do get close, and would most likely take the food out of your hands if your not quick enough to drop it first. But he had a lot of fun.
My dad has been rebuilding a John Deere Gator for him (child sized of course). When he first saw it in my parent's living room he was stunned to silence, but he recovered quickly from his awe, and jumped on it like he was a pro. We had the battery unplugged inside so he wouldn't go anywhere, but that did not stop him from pushing it around. After dinner we brought it outside and plugged in the battery and he had so much fun. He doesnt know how to turn it well yet, but I am sure he will figure it out soon enough!! Sorry I have no pictures, it was already dark outside.
When next we bring it out I will take some!

A Day with Brayden

Yesterday my friend Amy came to visit with her son Brayden. He is 6 months older than Coltin. They play pretty well together, Coltin still is working on the whole "playing with others" thing. When he is not intertaining himself he follows Brayden around, its pretty cute.
Coltin is such a ham!! We both had our cameras out, so of course he was right there for the pictures saying "Cheese!" and "I see." He loves to see himself on camera!
They stayed for lunch, and when the time came to leave the boys would hug and kiss eachother, it was so adorable! I am sure they will hate to hear about that when they are all grown!!

A Day at the Park

Brian and I finaly had an evening when we could go to the park together with Coltin. I have brought a few times during the day, but it was really nice going together. Coltin really enjoyed it too!

4th of July

Hey everyone! Sorry, yet again, that it took so long to update. I thought I would back up a little and show you all Coltin from 4th of July. We decided to spend the evening at Brian's parents house. They live on a small lake, and every year 3 to 4 houses have a small fireworks show.
Coltin normally goes to sleep at around 8, but they did not start until almost 10. So we gave him a little snack, and as you can see he was pretty sleepy.

He really enjoys going for pontoon boat rides during the day, but I was not sure how he would handle it at night, with a lot of loud booming noises. He actually really enjoyed it! He loved sitting and cudling with his grandma.
He would oh and ah at the really big fireworks, and point and smile. It was really cute. I just hope next year he wont be afraid, because I want to take him to a real show!

Coltin's First Art Project

I just bought Coltin some large crayons
and he went to town on this piece of paper.
All is his original work, except the 3 purple
lines down the middle, those are mine.
He thought it was pretty cool to color,
but then he wanted to take the crayons
with him when he was done, and didn't
like that they couldn't go where he wanted
to go.

Sorry all, but as I am sure you are all aware that I don't get on here much, so will really try better from now on!!


So not much is new, just went through the hollidays with family and friends, and Coltin had his first birthday January 15!! He is getting so big, and doing so much!! Its a blast to just watch him walk around and talk. His new favorit word is truck, but it sounds like guck, which also works for duck, and I know a duck says quack, but Coltin thinks it says guck :) Oh well he'll get soon enough!! Its amazing how fast the time zooms by!! Well here are some pics, enjoy!

So here coltin is santa, it was so cute the way he kept looking up at him, I am surprised that he was not scared at all, just kinda like, huh who are you?

Here is coltin's first cupcake, for his birthday, he only liked the frosting. It was cute because he accidently flipped it upside down, and he kept poking it trying to get back to the frosting, which was then on the bottom.

New Nephew

Hey everyone,
I have a new nephew!! Donovin Micheal, born 10-24 at 6 lbs 15 oz , 20.5 in long, and boy is he cute!!! Of course I have no pictures cause my camera died, and I am at work typing this out.
I just wanted to share the wonderful news. I now have a niece and two nephews!!
Brian pulled the motor on the Ford last night, So hopefully we can drive it sometime next week :) He just has to order some parts for it, and then put it all back together. He said that its a good thing that he decided to put the oil pan on and pull the motor, because who ever did it last time did not put all the screws on very tightly. He was unscrewing most of by the hand! Scary thought!
Cotlin no longer has to wear his helmet!! We are pretty happy about that, he no longer looks like a hockey player ;) And his rash is also gone, FINALLY!! I was starting to wonder if he had some long term allergy we were unaware of. But he is doing very well at 24 lbs, and 9 months old.
I must say that being a parent is such a riot, for all those who are unaware of whats its like as of yet. Just wait!!
